The NCD is excited to welcome Dr. Scott Yorkovich to our district team. With Frank Lanier’s recent call to plant an EFCA church in North Carolina, Scott will step in to fill the gap as our interim director for church resources.

Scott has a strong history and track record with our NCD and EFCA family of churches. He has been a longtime member and elder at Rockpoint church in Lake Elmo (going back to the days when it was called Lakewood Evangelical Free Church). He is an excellent Bible teacher and discipler. He holds a doctorate in strategic leadership from Regent University.

Scott currently serves with Western Governors University. For now, this part-time  NCD role will be complementary to his full time work in higher education. But we are hopeful that God might grow it into something more in the year ahead, as God clarifies His ministry calling on Scott’s life while he helps fill the gaps in our current season of transition.

In his role with the district, Scott will oversee district events, develop NCD QuickGuides, and help a little with computers and other technology. And like everyone on our NCD team, he will help us serve and shepherd NCD pastors and church leaders.
