Dear Pastors and Mission Leaders,

Greetings in Christ.  In August, I was with the ReachGlobal CONNECT team.  Their focus is connecting churches to strategic, global relationships to fulfill the Great Commission.  Here are some highlights to share with your mission team.

Crisis Response will soon be working in Kentucky after the flooding there in July.  They hope to begin sending teams at the end of August.  Five EFCA churches were affected by the flooding. To get further information, please go to To schedule a trip to serve, email

ReachGlobal now has 555 current missionaries.  Their goal is 30 new missionaries a year.

The Mission Pastors Network is now changing to the EFCA Mission Leadership Network.  This is the peer learning group and resource site for EFCA church missions leaders. It is open to church staff who give primary leadership to missions for their church.  If you are the leader of your local mission team, you might want to consider joining this group.  They meet on Yammer and have a once a year in-person gathering.  To get more information and to apply, please contact Craig McClun,

The Healthy Missions Partnership course is being updated.  The next course will begin on October 17th.  The course is one month long with online assignments.  The good news is that it is free to attend.  The course will be led by several members of the ReachGlobal CONNECT team.  Usually there are between 12-18 people, who attend it.  To register or to get further information, write to

ReachGlobal Point Person.  The point person is the connecting point and the communication link between EFCA ReachGlobal and your church. So far about 400 churches in the USA have a point person.  They send out a monthly newsletter updating you on the world of missions. To sign up or get more information, please write to
