Bio
Scott Yorkovich has served the EFCA’s North Central District since 2025. Scott looks back and sees how the Father had been calling to him even from his earliest years. In junior high he first understood the true grace of Christ, submitted to him, and accepted his gift of life and was discipled further in his walk with Christ in college. Scott, and Julie, his future wife, had their introduction to the EFCA under Pastor Greg Scharf in Fargo, ND, where they both grew in faith and ministry experience. Scott has a double major BS in Psychology and Sociology from North Dakota State University and earned a Doctor of Strategic Leadership and an MA in Organizational Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach. He has owned successful businesses in IT consulting and leadership and management consulting. He has also worked in higher education as an educator and several other roles. Scott and Julie have been married for 38 years and have identical twin sons. They enjoy spending time together out in nature. Scott is an avid reader of many disciplines (mostly non-fiction) and holds a Black Belt in Soo Bahk Do. He is grateful to serve alongside our district team as we serve pastors, church leaders, and churches.
Church Resources
As the Director for Revitalization and Resources, Scott works with pastors, elders, and ministry leaders on pastoral transitions and reinvigorating ministry effectiveness in churches needing renewal, improved health, and growth. He also works with the NCD team to create QuickGuides, conduct local training events with ministry leaders, and offer other resources. Scott oversees events including the District Conference, Fall Teaching Conference, and other regional events.
