Frank Lanier

Leadership Development

Bio

Frank Lanier has served as the director of leadership development for the EFCA’s North Central District since 2023. Growing up, Frank had many deep questions about life’s purpose, the definition of good, and the complexities of righteousness. When he was a frustrated 16 year old, a stranger “chanced” upon him finally with a satisfactory answer – Jesus Christ. He received his bachelor’s degree in World Religions at North Carolina State University and later graduated with a ThM degree in New Testament studies and Pastoral Ministries from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before serving with the NCD, Frank served as both children’s pastor and pastor of adult ministries in local NCD churches. Frank has been married to Dottie for 20 years and they have 6 beautiful children who help ensure there is never a dull moment at the Lanier household. He is grateful to serve alongside our district team as we serve pastors, church leaders, and churches.

Leadership Development

As the director of leadership development, his ministry will be discovering, recruiting, and supporting potential EFCA pastors and leaders. He will also oversee district events, develop stronger connections with our member congregations, and help pastor our pastors.
