The Fall Teaching Conference was held at the beginning of October at Camp Shamineau.  Nick Perrin, president of TIU, was our speaker.  His messages focused on four “I am” sayings of Jesus in the Gospel of John:  I am … the bread, the light of the world, the good shepherd, and the true vine. Nick drew on Old Testament background and other passages in John to help us understand more deeply the uniqueness of Jesus and the power of his claims.  Nick also guided us in seeing how these realities affect our leadership in Christ’s church.  Josiah Barrett, Ben and Jenni Brandt led musical worship and generously provided the song list below.  Pristine weather and colored leaves added to the richness of the retreat!
