Ministry in any context can hold both blessings and challenges, but a rural context can sometimes make you feel overwhelmed. As a North Central District pastor serving a church in a rural context, you may feel that you are alone in these times, wondering who you can turn to for uplifting and encouragement. This is where the Rural Pastors and Wives’ Retreat comes into the picture.
Our theme for 2026 is Ministering Out of the Overflow of Your Heart. It is our prayer that you will walk away from this time together feeling both supported and uplifted. You will be prayed over during the retreat bringing your specific prayer needs before God’s Throne of Grace. You will also be encouraged in times of teaching by Dave Linde and by fellowship with those who are walking a very similar path of ministry.
It is our hope that, by connecting with others working in a similar context, you will realize that you are not alone! And that you will gain a deeper understanding and passion for the importance of what you do and the place you do it in, leading to a healthy ministry life and long-term Kingdom impact.
