What a joy it was to gather together at the end of March! We had over 375 participants gather at Constance Free Church in Andover. Bill Kynes addressed us regarding ‘Christian Leadership in the Footsteps of a Crucified Messiah’ from I Corinthians 1-4. Nate Kirby and the music team lead us through some sweet time of worship through music. Monday night we paused to appreciate retired Shamineau Camp director, Herb Bloomquist, and his many years of leadership. Many connections were made during mealtime conversations and people were encouraged through workshops and affinity groups.

Tuesday morning, we gathered for a business meeting where attendees voted to re-elect Brian Farone as our district superintendent (3rd term). They also affirmed Tom Cairns and Darrius Hubbard to serve another term on the board of directors. Chris Cundiff, Lucy Edens, Eric Uggerud, and Tom Vang were affirmed to join the board of directors to serve alongside them. We heard updates of how God is working in and through some partner ministries:  Cassia, Camp Shamineau, FCMM, and CIF. Brian Farone gave his annual update, and we spent time praying for one another. Shamineau Ministries held its annual luncheon business meeting at the conclusion of the conference.  We are grateful for the multi-faceted fellowship that we enjoyed as God answered many prayers for the conference.
