Dear NCD Pastors and Church Leaders,

Today, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz issued an emergency executive order directing Minnesotans to stay at home. Many of you may be wondering how this order impacts your church, especially related to using your church facility to produce online worship services. The Governor’s executive order includes the following exemption for faith leaders and workers:

“Faith leaders and workers. This category includes officials, workers, and leaders in houses of worship and other places of religious expression or fellowship, wherever their services may be needed. This category also includes workers necessary to plan, record, and distribute online or broadcast content to community members.” – Emergency Order 20-20 Section 6v
