Conference Recap: Confronting Injustice Without Compromising Truth

This year on Martin Luther King Day, we welcomed Dr. Thaddeus Williams for a conference based on his helpful book Confronting Injustice Without Compromising Truth.  Nearly 150 pastors, church leaders, and lay people from the North Central District gathered that day at First Evangelical Free Church in Maplewood to listen to challenge, encouragement, wisdom on how we can engage issues of injustice with the gospel.

Faithful to God’s Word, with a heart for genuine progress, and flowing from a John Perkins inspired biblical framework, we were taught to (1) start with God, (2) be one in Christ, (3) preach the Gospel, and (4) teach truth.

It was good day, helpful and motivating as we seek to be gospel people in the middle of this broken, divided world. The conference was recorded and is available at the links below.
